The Florida 300:
The Florida 300 is a five day open ocean endurance race sailed on high performance beach catamarans up the Florida coastline. Last year completed the second successful running of the Florida 300. The race starts off in Islamorada, Florida and ultimately finishes in Cocoa Beach, Florida after four grueling days of sailing. The last 50 mile leg from Vero Beach to Cocoa Beach includes a separate class dubbed the “Dogfight” which is open to all 16 to 22 foot catamarans.

The Events:
Endurance Races are like nothing else in sports. Fans are able to get up close and personal to the boats and sailors as they prep for the start of the race and feel the excitement as they push out into the ocean. Once the race is well underway, the atmosphere shifts to beach party as fans hang out, watch the action via live satelite tracking. All starts and finishes are streamed live. And after the sailors race back, everyone celebrates into the night.
